Leftists react strongly after Idaho bar offers a month of free beer for assisting ICE in finding and deporting undocumented immigrants.

Old State Saloon Sparks Controversy with Promotional Campaign

The Old State Saloon in Eagle, Idaho, gained considerable attention last year when it introduced “Heterosexual Awesomeness Month.” The timing, of course, was in June—Pride Month—so it didn’t take long for reactions, especially from the younger left-leaning crowd, to surface.

One protestor even declared, “We are planning a huge protest at UR POS SALOON this weekend! God doesn’t like ugly so you guys go straight to hell!” Such sentiments illustrate the polarized atmosphere surrounding the bar.

Now the Old State Saloon has made headlines yet again. This time, it’s offering free beer for a month to patrons who assist Immigration and Customs Enforcement in identifying and deporting undocumented immigrants. The announcement was made through a social media post, stating, “Warning: Anyone who helps ICE identify and ultimately deport illegal aliens from Idaho will receive a month of free beer at Old State Saloon!”

Interestingly, the Department of Homeland Security even shared the bar’s offer, which caught the attention of many. The repost amassed about 3.7 million views, showcasing a certain level of enthusiasm from the agency regarding community engagement in its efforts.

However, there’s a catch. To claim the free beer, participants must email the saloon with evidence, including photos, videos, and a summary detailing their efforts.

In a slightly amusing twist, one user inquired whether there’s a limit on how many times one could redeem the offer. The bar responded, “Twice a day for one month,” and added that, at their discretion, they might extend rewards if more than one deportation occurs.

The bar’s polarizing promotions have not gone unnoticed, leading to a rising wave of backlash from the left. Interestingly, the Old State’s social media pages display both the negative comments and fake one-star reviews, highlighting some of the unusual (and sometimes threatening) responses they’ve received.

One comment read: “I hope you get slammed like all those sad Magat women who think they’re doing the right thing. You’re not, you racist motherfucker.” Another user warned, “We’re planning a big protest at UR POS SALOON this weekend! God doesn’t like ugly so you guys go straight to hell! Bitches.” The saloon’s social media team has been cheekily unfazed, replying with sarcasm and humor.

In fact, shortly after kicking off the free beer initiative, the saloon introduced additional promotions for December, labeling it “Merry Snitchmas”. These included themed nights like “Manly America Mondays,” where American males who support ICE could score a free drink, and an enticing offer for heterosexual couples that rewards them for their compliance.

Needless to say, this unusual approach to marketing has not only garnered media attention but also raised questions about the reactions it sparks. What’s next for the Old State Saloon remains to be seen, but it’s clear they’re enjoying the limelight, even if it comes with controversy.
