Marjorie Taylor Greene announces her engagement to a White House reporter before leaving Congress

Just three weeks before her departure from Congress, Marjorie Taylor Greene announced her engagement to Brian Glenn, a correspondent for Real America’s Voice.

During a dinner at an upscale restaurant, Greene proudly displayed her new diamond ring, indicating that Glenn must have popped the question.

“She said, ‘Yes,’ and he supported X,” Greene shared excitedly.

Sending heartfelt wishes, Greene declared, “I wish you all the best in your life!!! I love you.”

Both Greene and Glenn were previously married, with Greene divorcing her ex-husband, Perry, in 2022. They have been seen together publicly since sometime in 2023.

This engagement announcement comes as Greene prepares to step down from her congressional position on January 5, 2026, following a recent public dispute with President Trump. Greene has been vocal in her criticism of Trump, claiming he hasn’t given the necessary attention to the United States, and has supported a congressional push for the release of the complete Justice Department file on Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender.

After months of unflattering remarks about the administration, Greene faced backlash from Trump, who labeled her a “traitor.” Shortly after, she revealed her intent to resign.

Her early exit may further weaken the already fragile Republican majority in the House, creating hurdles for the party in passing key legislation along party lines.

Interestingly, Greene and Glenn initially connected over their shared views on Trump. In an interview, Glenn described Greene as “mystical and unicorn-like” during their early days together.

Glenn has a reputation for asking Trump questions that reflect positively on him during press events. In navigating his relationship with Greene, he has expressed affection for her while trying not to upset Trump.

At one point, he remarked on being caught in the middle of the Greene-Trump tensions, joking, “I’ve got to go with ‘Mommy’ here.”

Recently, Trump publicly assured Glenn that any disagreements with Greene wouldn’t interfere with their relationship, telling him, “We love you, Brian” and affirming that he had always viewed Glenn as a good person.

In responding, Glenn emphasized his admiration for Trump, aiming to maintain harmony amid the situation. As Greene prepares to move back to Georgia, Glenn has expressed his intention to follow her, citing a new studio for Real America’s Voice close to home.

“I’m not going back and forth. I’m not doing it. It’s not worth it,” he said, signaling his commitment to making it work in Georgia. “From there, I’ll do whatever it takes.”
