Pink Reflects on 2025 from Hospital Room on New Year’s Eve

As she spent New Year’s Eve alone in her hospital room, singer Pink took a moment to contemplate the challenges and triumphs of the past year. In a recent Instagram selfie, she showed off a noticeable bandage on her neck, revealing that she’s focused on her health as she steps into the new year, which includes receiving “two new shiny discs” for her neck.

“Happy New Year to everyone. We are so happy to bid farewell to the Year of the Snake and welcome back the Horse. We will leave all our scars behind in 2025,” she wrote online.

Reflecting on the past year, she described it as tough, a mix of truly heartbreaking moments and minor annoyances, but also filled with beauty. Pink expressed gratitude for being able to prioritize her family, particularly her two children, and support them in chasing their dreams. Life, in her view, is an adventure.

She noted, “I said goodbye to people very dear to me and said hello to new faces. This year has brought not only nightmares but also dreams come true.”

She underscored her commitment to “respecting, caring for, and fixing” her body. While it might not be a glamorous facelift, she seems to embrace this transformative experience, saying, “New scars, new memories, be grateful for this vessel you have, and use it for all it’s worth.”

In her message, she also acknowledged the physical demands of her performances, stating, “Rock and roll is a contact sport.”

As she reflected on her New Year’s Eve, while her family enjoyed a day of snowboarding, Pink felt hopeful for 2026, emphasizing the importance of making positive choices. “I hope and pray that everyone can make that wish and make that choice.”

Moments of joy and struggles will always coexist, and she expressed her intention to “choose joy” for the upcoming year. “I’m going to choose positive thoughts over negative ones,” she said, clearly ready to embrace life with a renewed perspective.

With two kids, Willow Sage and Jameson, who she shares with husband Carey Hart, she wishes for more joy than sadness and more love than hate in the new year.

In her closing sentiments, she urged, “Let’s shed the old snake skin and find our horsepower.”
