Disturbing footage captures a woman, who identified herself as the wife of Renee Nicole Good, deeply distressed and blaming herself for her partner’s death at the hands of ICE agents.
This clip, recorded in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, shows the woman beside Good’s damaged vehicle, sobbing as nearby residents inquired about the incident.
“I brought her here. It’s my responsibility,” she said tearfully. “They just shot my wife.”
According to reports, Good was shot in the head while driving, which caused her car to lose control and crash. The agent involved reportedly shot at close range, firing three rounds.
The Department of Homeland Security labeled Good, a 37-year-old mother, as a “domestic terrorist,” alleging she attempted to harm federal officers while claiming the agents acted in self-defense.
These allegations included her supposedly being part of a group that was “stalking and disrupting” ICE officers that day, with the DHS Secretary asserting that Good had “weaponized” her vehicle.
Before the shooting, the woman who identified herself as Good’s wife was seen closely trailing and filming the federal agents. After the gunfire, she reportedly didn’t realize the severity of the incident until the car sped away.
Good described herself online as a “wife and mother,” a “poet and writer,” and even a “shy guitar strummer from Colorado.” Her mother, upon hearing about her death, called her one of the “kindest people” she knew, emphasizing her caring nature.
The woman, said to be Good’s wife, mentioned that they were newcomers in the area and had no one to turn to when bystanders asked if they needed assistance. She also requested someone to retrieve her dog’s leash from the wrecked car.
However, it seemed that the federal agents present were unresponsive to her pleas.
