A leftist from Washington is facing accusations of attempting to meet an 11-year-old for sexual encounters, despite having previously labeled President Donald Trump and his supporters as pedophiles.
Bremerton police reported the arrest of 44-year-old Houston Wade on December 17 after he allegedly sought to meet a young girl. Linwood Times reported on this case on Friday.
According to the source, Wade had been a physics and astronomy instructor at Edmonds University until 2022. Authorities indicated he used a social media platform to communicate with a “decoy” posing as an 11-year-old.
Officers located him at a hotel in Silverdale after he purportedly agreed to meet the “child” for sexual activities.
“Upon arrival at the designated meeting place in Bremerton, Wade was taken into custody,” the article stated. A search warrant revealed condoms, bondage gear, and adult toys left behind in the hotel room.
Video footage from the YouTube channel Lanvik shows body camera clips where law enforcement surrounded Wade during the arrest.
As a police dog barked, an officer instructed Wade to raise his hands. He was subsequently handcuffed and searched.
In a statement made to the court, Detective Brandon Smith noted, “Houston Wade engaged in communication with a minor for immoral purposes, using grooming techniques to illustrate various sexual acts he intended to perform with her.”
He also added:
Houston Wade took significant steps toward committing first-degree child rape by driving from Bainbridge Island, renting a hotel room, acquiring various sex toys and restraints, arriving at East Park in Bremerton for the purpose of meeting with the 11-year-old girl for sexual intercourse. He directed the person he believed to be the 11-year-old to meet him near a parking lot where he awaited her, intending to take her to a hotel room for the aforementioned acts.
According to times, Wade is identified as a left-wing activist who has consistently accused Republicans and Trump supporters of pedophilia.

In one of his posts, Wade stated: “As President, I would gladly throw a load of gravel at this pedophile.”
The Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office jail records indicate that Wade remains in custody, facing six charges, including commercial sexual abuse of a minor. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
