Erika Kirk to Attend State of the Union as President Trump’s Guest

Erika Kirk, the 37-year-old widow of the late conservative activist Charlie Kirk, is set to attend President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address as one of his special guests.

The invitation was confirmed by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, following an initial report from Daily Wire.

During his address, President Trump is expected to deliver a strong condemnation of political violence, calling for Congress to “firmly reject political violence against our fellow citizens.”

Erika Kirk’s presence highlights the ongoing conversation about faith, forgiveness, and belief in the nation since her husband’s tragic assassination last September on a college campus. Trump intends to use this moment to address increasing threats and politically charged incidents in today’s climate.

Her role in the event may also relate to broader discussions on law enforcement, public safety, and national unity—central themes in Trump’s messaging leading into the midterms, especially in light of rising domestic extremism and recent violent occurrences linked to immigration enforcement.

In addition to these topics, Trump is expected to review the administration’s economic achievements, recent tariff defenses following a Supreme Court ruling, immigration strategies, negotiations with Iran, and festivities surrounding America’s upcoming 250th anniversary.
