U.S. Military Operation Initiated in Iran

Recently, the U.S. military commenced a significant operation in Iran, aiming to protect American citizens and neutralize the immediate threats posed by the Iranian government, which is often characterized as hardline and fearful.

The regime’s aggressive actions pose a direct risk not only to the United States but also to military personnel stationed abroad and allied nations globally.

For nearly five decades, Iran has persistently chanted “Death to America” and engaged in an unrelenting campaign of violence against the U.S., its military, and innocent lives across various countries.

Early in their leadership, the administration sided with militants who violently took over the U.S. embassy in Tehran, leading to 444 days of American hostages.

In 1983, a bombing orchestrated by Iranian proxies targeted a Marine barracks in Beirut, claiming 241 lives. Moreover, in 2000, there were indications of Iranian involvement in the deadly attack on the USS Cole.

Countless U.S. service members have been injured or killed in Iraq due to Iranian actions. Recently, Iranian proxies have conducted multiple assaults on U.S. military bases in the Middle East and attacked American and commercial vessels in international waters.

This ongoing campaign of mass terrorism can no longer be tolerated.

From Lebanon to Yemen, Iraq to Syria, these regimes have trained and equipped terrorist factions, causing widespread chaos and destruction.

The Iranian-backed Hamas instigated a major assault on Israel on October 7, resulting in the deaths of over 1,000 individuals, including 46 Americans, and taking 12 hostages. The brutality was shocking—nothing quite like it has been seen before.

Iran stands as the foremost state sponsor of terrorism, recently killing tens of thousands of its own citizens during protests.

Maintaining that this regime must never attain nuclear capabilities has been a longstanding U.S. policy, particularly under this administration. We are resolute that they will not have nuclear weapons.

That’s why last June, in Operation Midnight Hammer, we eliminated significant aspects of the regime’s nuclear program in key locations like Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Following that, we warned them against continuing their threats of nuclear development and sought an agreement. Attempts at discussion fluctuated, while they appeared confused about their own desires, seemingly intent on chaos.

Nonetheless, Iran has consistently turned down chances to abandon their nuclear goals, and we can’t tolerate it anymore.

Instead of retreating, they’ve tried to refocus on developing long-range missiles that could eventually reach the U.S., posing a risk to our allies in Europe and our troops abroad.

It’s daunting to think how influential this regime could become if it were to wield nuclear arms.

Therefore, the U.S. military has undertaken a large-scale operation designed to thwart this radical dictatorship from jeopardizing America’s core security interests. We are determined to dismantle their missile capabilities entirely.

Our commitment also includes eradicating their navy and ensuring that terrorist proxies no longer destabilize the region or use tactics like IEDs against our military, which has resulted in the suffering of thousands, including many Americans.

We will not allow Iran to acquire nuclear apparatus. That’s a straightforward message: they cannot have nuclear weapons.

This administration will swiftly demonstrate that challenging the might of the U.S. military is unwise.

I had strengthened the military in my first term, and no other force on the planet can rival its power and sophistication.

We’ve taken extensive precautions to safeguard our military personnel in the region. However, the Iranian regime remains a threat to American lives, and while I recognize the risks, we pursue this mission for future generations—a mission worth undertaking.

We think of our service members who courageously place their lives on the line so that Americans and future generations aren’t endangered by a nuclear-capable Iran. With divine guidance, we believe our military will succeed.

We have an exceptional team, and they will triumph.

To members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the armed forces, and the police: either lay down your arms and you will be treated fairly, or face dire consequences.

So, surrender your weapons, and you’ll receive clemency. If not, you will face inevitable repercussions.

To the proud population of Iran, I say your chance for freedom is approaching. Please stay indoors as danger looms outside. Bombs will be falling. After we complete our operation, you will have the opportunity to reclaim your governance. This could be your sole chance for many years.

You’ve sought assistance from America for years, often in vain. No previous president has attempted what I am undertaking tonight. Now you have a leader willing to support you with formidable power and strength.

This is your moment to shape your future and foster a prosperous life ahead. The time to act is now. Don’t let this opportunity slip away.

May God bless the brave members of the American military. May God bless the United States. Thank you.
