Embassy in Mexico Spreads Propaganda to Media, Asserts Leaders Are Alive – Only Innocents Have Died

The Iranian embassy in Mexico held a press conference to share various assertions with local media.

During this event, Iranian Ambassador to Mexico Abolfazl Pasandide communicated in Persian, while an interpreter facilitated dialogue with invited journalists. He asserted that the U.S. and Israel were launching unprovoked attacks on Iran to thwart its independence. Furthermore, he suggested that Israel’s actions were part of a strategy to bolster Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s position, thereby enhancing U.S. geopolitical influence.

In the briefing, the ambassador mentioned having spoken with the nation’s prime minister, who reportedly assured him of his safety following the attack. This contradicted Western media claims that senior Iranian officials, including the supreme leader and the president, had been killed. This assertion later proved to be somewhat misleading.

“These assertions originate from the United States, but we must substantiate our claims,” he remarked.

Pasandide alleged that an attack by the U.S. had struck a school housing over 200 children. He urged the international community to denounce these actions and push for an end to hostilities against Iran, advocating for a peaceful resolution.

He reiterated the stance that Iran’s nuclear program is purely peaceful, dismissing allegations of militaristic intentions—a narrative that, according to him, has been exploited by Western countries for over three decades.

Interestingly, he did not address the ongoing civil war in Iran. Nevertheless, international reports suggest that a significant segment of the population is calling for an end to the current regime, which has faced widespread criticism. Reports indicate that tens of thousands of demonstrators may have been executed under the present government.
