"Everyone's rights are at risk": DOJ lawyer offers Allie Beth Stuckey a special insight into the Biden administration's campaign against Christians

The message conveyed is that Christians, much like their Savior faced persecution in the first century, continue to experience similar hostility today. This sentiment echoes true even after two millennia. It’s noted that the Biden administration has been somewhat tolerant towards Christians, but only to a certain extent. A report from Open Doors—a watchdog group—highlights that over 315 million Christians face severe or extreme persecution globally, with numerous believers killed annually because of their faith.

Interestingly, the most perilous countries for Christians are primarily located in Africa, Asia, and the Indian subcontinent. Nonetheless, even in supposedly developed Western nations, Christians confront violent attacks, discrimination, and governmental repression. In the U.S., for instance, animosity toward Christians and their beliefs escalated during the Biden administration, which not only overlooked a rise in anti-Christian incidents but also embraced policies reflecting this hostility.

On the other hand, former President Trump has expressed a commitment to “eliminate the government’s oppression and unjust targeting of Christians,” aiming to address the wrongs of the previous administration. Last year, a task force was formed to combat anti-Christian bias. Camille Vallone, a Senior Counsel at the Department of Justice, revealed that there was a significant amount of bigotry against Christians propagated by the federal government during Biden’s term. On her show “Relatable,” host Allie Beth Stuckey provided insights from the task force’s work, revealing troubling reports about how the government handled anti-Christian sentiments.

Stuckey mentioned that the Biden administration has, at times, used issues surrounding transgender rights to justify discrimination against Christian healthcare professionals, schools, and churches. This anti-Christian bias was even visible within the Justice Department itself, where Christians were often dismissed as a protected class.

Vallone remarked that while there was some measure of tolerance for Christians when they kept their beliefs private, once they tried to practice their faith openly, they ran into problems. The report highlighted numerous abuses and discriminatory policies linked to Biden’s administration.

For instance, although the Justice Department rigorously pursued charges against peaceful pro-life protesters, it seldom acted against leftist groups perceived as posing a threat to pregnancy resource centers. The IRS indicated it was more likely to scrutinize churches aligned with conservative views while ignoring those with more progressive stances.

Additionally, there were controversies surrounding the implementation of a Supreme Court ruling that seemed to mandate the acceptance of specific beliefs about gender and sexual orientation.

The task force concluded that the Biden administration, in its efforts to further its agenda, displayed anti-Christian tendencies and limited the ability of Christians to adhere to their beliefs publicly, sometimes pushing them to choose between their faith and compliance with federal regulations.

Stuckey pointed out that such actions should concern everyone—religious or not—because if any group’s rights can be undermined, the rights of all are potentially at risk. Vallone emphasized this point, stating that the findings warrant concern among all faith groups, as it suggests a dangerous precedent.

In a concluding statement, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche insisted that no American should fear reprisal from the government for their religious beliefs. He asserted that the Biden administration’s measures had adversely impacted many Christians and that efforts would continue to combat those targeting them, aiming to restore religious freedom for all. Stuckey expressed hope that awareness of these issues would grow, empowering individuals to understand their constitutional rights.
