Tesla Road Rage Driver Sentenced to Seven Years
A man dubbed the “Tesla Road Rage Driver” received a seven-year prison sentence for a violent assault incident in Hawaii.
Nathaniel Radimak was sentenced on Thursday after his involvement in an attack on a mother and her 18-year-old daughter in Honolulu in 2025.
Radimak, who has a history of roadside assaults, acknowledged his wrongdoing during the sentencing. “I take responsibility. I just feel sorry,” he reportedly said, as noted by Hawaii News Now. “This shouldn’t be happening. But I really need some type of treatment and I’m staying away for a long time. It’s not helping me, but I’m responsible.”
He faced charges including unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle and two counts of third-degree assault, to which he entered a no-contest plea earlier this year.
During the sentencing, Judge Clarissa Marinao commented that Radimak had not received necessary medical care while continuing to use illegal drugs during his parole from a previous sentence. She pointed out, “His history of violence indicates a propensity for violence, and the defendant’s voluntary intoxication and discontinuance of medication increases the risk that he poses a danger to himself and the public.”
Radimak, who is 39 years old, was accused of assaulting an 18-year-old woman and her 35-year-old mother on May 7, 2025, according to reports from Honolulu police. The incident began when the young woman was parked downtown and noticed a gray Tesla passing by.
Authorities say Radimak exited his vehicle to confront the victims, leading to a physical assault before he fled the scene. He was driving a 2022 gray Tesla with Oregon license plates at the time.
The following day, Honolulu police apprehended him. This arrest came shortly after Radimak’s release from a five-year prison sentence linked to additional street assaults in Southern California, where he had served less than a year.
He had pleaded guilty to various charges, including assault and vandalism, with a new sentencing scheduled for 2023. Previously, media outlets reported that Radimak was notorious for targeting the vehicles of female drivers with pipes.
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation had previously stated that he earned credit for 424 days of time served while awaiting sentencing in that earlier case.
