The well-known World Cup fan, Freddie, has dived into the hardcore soccer scene, traveling across the U.S. to soak in the atmosphere.
This Sunday, he has something different planned.
Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) has invited Freddie to their Slammiversary pay-per-view event at Agganis Arena in Boston. He mentioned that this event would act as a warm-up for Germany’s match in the finals against Paraguay.
“I’m really looking forward to the next couple of days in Boston. Besides the Germany game on the 29th, I’m attending a pro wrestling show tomorrow. I’ll be at @ThisIsTNA Slammiversary and maybe I’ll get to meet Jeff and Matt Hardy. Should be a blast!” he shared on X.
TNA replied enthusiastically, saying, “We can’t wait to welcome you to Agganis Arena tomorrow as we celebrate TNA’s 24th anniversary with #TNASlammiversary!”
Matt Hardy, who will tag with Jeff Hardy in a four-way ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, also reached out to Freddie.
He tweeted, “So glad you enjoyed your time in America, @FreddyLA7! @ThisIsTNA will make sure you’re all geared up for #TNASlammiversary tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you!”
Freddie’s journey around the U.S. has made him a prominent figure during the World Cup. His laid-back attitude and experiences have garnered significant attention online.
Ambassador Nick Adams, from the Trump administration, also confirmed that Freddie was invited to the White House earlier this month.
As for the Hardys, they are set to face off against Bear Bronson & Brian Myers, as well as The Righteous’s Jason Hotch & John Skyler in a high-stakes ladder match. The main card kicks off at 4 PM ET.
