The Shift in Minions and Monsters

Well, it finally happened. Those persistent minions have worn us down—at least, to some degree.

Mr. Walz granted a pardon to an illegal immigrant who had previously assaulted a 10-year-old. It’s believed this was done to keep him from being deported.

“Minions & Monsters” is hitting theaters nationwide this weekend, and early box office reports are looking solid, though not extraordinary. Projections suggest it might make around $75 million over its first five days.

That’s certainly impressive. But, just to compare, “Minions: The Rise of Gru” raked in $107 million during its opening weekend back in 2022. Those silly, yellow characters have managed to squeeze a lot of life out of their appeal longer than anyone expected.

However, it appears the good times may be waning. We might only see three to five more sequels before Hollywood takes a different direction.

Bill Maher’s Warnings

Bill Maher isn’t shy about sounding the alarm for his fellow Democrats.

As a liberal comedian, Maher has been vocal in his critiques of his side over issues like the “woke virus” and antisemitism on campuses. Recently, after indicating to J.D. Vance that his vote may matter come 2028, he cautioned his Democratic peers. He also remarked that the election of three far-left Democrats in New York might signal a dire shift within the party.

“So how do they blow it?” Maher said. “I’m not sure, but they seem to be headed in that direction.”

Despite his warnings, it seems the left isn’t really paying attention. I guess they’ll probably overlook him again…

Giving Back

What do you do when you seemingly have everything? Any guesses? Maybe consider a charitable donation?

Instead of accepting gifts, don’t fault us for our fortunate circumstances…

What’s Going On with Trump?

Deadline is upset with President Trump for not having a sense of humor.

Inconsistent visuals featured in a recent AI-created piece show that while some impersonations were spot-on, others, well, not so much.

Anti-counterfeiting laws do provide guidelines for using someone’s likeness in digital formats, but rules vary for news, documentaries, and commentary, so the likelihood of any legal issues from Trump’s videos remains low.

Rest easy.

Justin Bateman’s Bold Stance

Justin Bateman has stepped into an unexpected role as a prominent activist.

She has directly confronted Governor Tim Walz regarding his recent pardon of an illegal immigrant guilty of assaulting a child. She described his actions as grotesque, and social media has echoed this sentiment, labeling him a “knucklehead.” Interestingly, this nickname seems to resonate even more than what he called himself during a disastrous vice-presidential debate two years ago.

It seems that a more fitting name for Walz may soon arise: Former Governor.

Inside the Spider-Man Movie

There’s no resisting the marvel of Spidey.

Sadie Sink, who appears in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” admitted she went into her role without a clear idea of the character—she didn’t get the script until she arrived on set for the first time.

At least she was aware that Supergirl wouldn’t be around on set. Interesting, right?
