President Trump: “In the face of this national security, public safety, and public health disaster, the state of Texas has rightly invoked the invasion clause of the Constitution, and must be given full support to repel the invasion.'' It must be done.” said in a statement Thursday..
“We encourage all willing countries to deploy their Guard troops to Texas to deter illegal immigrants from entering our country and remove them from crossing our borders,” President Trump continued. “All Americans should support common-sense steps by Texas authorities to protect the safety, security, and sovereignty of Texas and the American people.”
On Tuesday, the Texas National Guard appeared to ignore a Supreme Court ruling authorizing the removal of razor wire fencing and continued construction along the border. Mr. Abbott criticized President Biden for not enforcing and violating immigration laws and justified his own decisions.
As the surge of migrants continues to arrive at Texas' southern border, Texas' governor cited the state's constitutional authority to protect itself from invasion.
Trump's declaration comes as Republican governors in several states are backing Abbott against the administration's decision to allow the Border Patrol to remove the wires. Republican Govs. Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, Kristi Noem of South Dakota, Ron DeSantis of Florida, Glenn Youngkin of Virginia and Brian Kemp of Georgia have all announced their support for Abbott. did.

President Trump accused Biden of “aiding and abetting” the migrant surge. He said Mr Abbott's hands were tied “while the invasion went unchecked”.
The argument that Texas authorities can supersede federal authority has led to calls from Democrats for Biden to nationalize the Texas National Guard and force it to comply with court decisions.
