A Florida man was arrested for causing a disturbance after allegedly blocking the departure of a vehicle that was illegally parked in a handicap parking spot and called 911 to complain to the responding police officer.

The Lady Lake Police Department said in an affidavit obtained by the department that Taylor noticed her vehicle being parked in a handicapped space at a gas station even though she did not have a handicap permit. , said he called 911.
Taylor then entered the store and caused a disturbance, according to the affidavit.

Police said the suspect “interfered with the flow of business” because the vehicle was illegally parked in a handicapped parking space. He is also said to have threatened to “fight” someone who parked there.
According to police, the man said things like, “Are you going to fight?”
When the driver of the car tried to leave, Taylor allegedly stood behind the car until police arrived. Police said the suspect continued to threaten the driver with a fight during the trip.

During questioning, police said Taylor was unsteady while feeding and smelled of alcohol.
Responding officers warned Taylor that they would arrest him if he got behind the wheel. Instead, they suggested he find a ride home.
However, police allege Taylor argued with the officers and demanded that a sergeant be sent to the scene.

Even though the officer said he was the sergeant on duty, Taylor ignored him and called 911 to complain to the officer who responded to the Wawa.
Ultimately, Taylor was arrested and taken to the Lake County Jail. He was released on $1,500 bail.
