Fulton County Attorney Fani Willis returned to church over the weekend to accept the Black History Achievement Award at Atlanta Berean Church.
During her appearance, she quoted the Bible verse Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you will prosper.”
“There’s been a lot of stuff going on lately that I don’t talk about,” Willis said, alluding to the ongoing Trump case in which he is accused of receiving financial benefits from prosecutors through his girlfriend and fellow prosecutors. .
“The Bible verse they keep sending me is, ‘No weapon formed against you will prosper,'” she said. “But I want you all to hear this. They’re not saying that weapons won’t form.”
“That’s the part I hadn’t heard until recently,” Willis continued. “Just because you don’t flourish doesn’t mean it won’t form. Even if you feel like everything you’re doing in life is the right thing and you’re making mistakes along the way, you’re still trying. Noyo.”
“We shouldn’t think that those weapons won’t form,” she said.

Willis and her boyfriend and fellow Trump prosecutor Nathan Wade took the stand Thursday to testify whether their relationship disqualified Willis from prosecuting Trump.
If the presiding judge determines that Willis has an actual conflict of interest with his girlfriend or fellow prosecutor, Willis could be removed from the case and handed over to former President Donald Trump. Trump wins big.
This testimony revealed three important facts:
- Wade testified that his relationship with Willis began in 2022 after Willis filed a lawsuit against Trump in 2021. But Robin Yearty, a former employee of the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office and a friend of Mr. Willis since college, said there is no doubt that Mr. Willis has had an affair with Mr. Wade since then. In 2019, contradicting Wade and Willis.
- Wade also said, “Their relationship was not a secret. It was just a private thing,” an unusual distinction that apparently did not include disclosing the relationship with Fulton County.
- According to the lovers, Willis paid Wade back in cash for trips to foreign countries. However, neither Willis nor Wade presented any evidence to support his sworn testimony.
As outlined by Breitbart News, the testimony raised several more questions regarding Willis’ infidelity.
