Chu’s essay targets those on the left who are not on board with gender reassignment surgery for children. These counter-revolutionaries, new york timeshas published a series of articles questioning the proliferation of transgenderism among children, especially adolescent girls.
Chu’s hit list also includes TThe Atlantic, The Economistand independent journalists who have questioned transdogma in one way or another.
These people are called “TARLs,” or trans-agnostic reactionary liberals. They are anti-woke leftists and generally oppose sex change procedures for minors. Chu reasoned that, as in the case of the Cultural Revolution, these moderates must be purged to achieve the greater good.
TARL is not a TERF. Harry potter Author JK Rowling and second wave feminists. While both are completely offensive to the trans lobby, Chu considers the former to be more “insidious”. Because their anti-transgender nature is hidden in their alliance with the LGBTQ community.
Central to Chu’s essay appears to be the concept of “biological justice,” which he never defines, but which seems to be somehow related to social justice.
“What trans kids are saying is this: the right to change their gender that their parents, friends, teachers, coaches, doctors, and representatives have enjoyed for decades, especially when they are white and wealthy. This right belongs to them, too,” he wrote.
“We should understand this right as flowing from a broader ideal of biological justice, rather than from a revivalist allegiance to an existing social order that is forever on the verge of collapse. And from there flow the right to abortion, the right to nutritious food and clean water, and, importantly, the right to health care. ”
Chu concludes that there should be no restrictions on children’s gender transition.
“Let everyone change their gender. Let everyone change their gender again. Let everyone change their gender again. Let transgender girls play sports, regardless of sexual status. Even if they are better, it only means that some girls are better at sports than others,” he writes.
“Let them use the single-sex facilities they like. Desegregate as much as possible. Don’t take children away from their parents. Don’t force anyone to change sex or gender. To everyone. Please give me health care.”
As Breitbart News reported, Mr. Chu won the Pulitzer Prize for criticism last year, but the decision came amid widespread criticism from many women who see him as a glorified female con artist and sex fetishist. aroused skepticism.
