Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee confirmed on radio last week that a ruling on whether Fulton County Attorney Fannie Willis should be removed from the Trump election interference case is likely to be reached this week.
McAfee is considering whether Willis had a financial conflict of interest with her boyfriend, Nathan Wade, a fellow prosecutor.

At the end of the disqualification hearing, McAfee said the court would deliberate for two weeks. The judge previously said Willis could be removed from the case, which would give former President Donald Trump a victory.
President Trump considers Willis’ prosecution to be election interference. The Biden administration is staffing Democratic operatives within the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, multiple sources familiar with the office told Breitbart News exclusively.

“I’m doing the best I can and following the law as I understand it. So I feel like I’m on track to get it done by the deadline that I set for myself,” he added.
Willis indicted Trump, President Joe Biden’s 2024 opponent, on 13 counts of misconduct, three of which McAfee dismissed on Wednesday.
