Former FBI agent Peter Strzok said Thursday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that he believes “moral justice” for former President Donald Trump “comes from getting out and voting.” Stated.
“This case is so obvious that Bill Barr keeps saying how bad Donald Trump is,” anchor Nicole Wallace said, talking about the classified documents incident in Florida.
Mr. Strzok said: “I think I completely agree with you, Nicole. and one of the sabotage incidents.”
“Our justice system is designed to protect the accused, and if Donald Trump is talented and has spent his entire career using the justice system as a weapon and a shield, it will protect the accused. If you have someone of that caliber and someone who tries to slow down our justice system, unfortunately you can be abused by someone like that. .”
Mr. Strzok concluded: I share that frustration. At the end of the day, this only serves to reinforce that if you, like everyone watching Special Counsel Mueller, want moral justice from the Department of Justice, don’t do it. Moral justice comes from getting out and voting. Some kind of decision would be made, but it’s not. There is a need to distinguish between wanting some sort of moral solution and getting one in court. ”
