Man found in car wearing only underwear with 13-year-old girl he met online, Oklahoma police say

Oklahoma State Police said a neighbor reported seeing an unknown man in a car and was able to call police. rescue a 13 year old child I met this man on the internet.

According to Tonkawa Police, they received a call from a resident living next door to the alley around 7pm on Saturday. The homeowner said he saw cars parked in the alley for hours and people inside.

“This alley is really only used for public facilities and trash collection,” Tonkawa Police Chief Nick Payne said. “So it’s very strange that it was parked there for this long. And the car was running.”

Police said the homeowner confronted the driver of the car, but the driver quickly drove off.

Payne said police subsequently received numerous reports of reckless vehicles and worked with the Kay County Sheriff’s Office to search for the man.

“Sitting in an alley as a suspect is not a crime, but driving recklessly in a residential area certainly is,” Payne explained. “So the officers were trying to investigate that.”

Police found the car in the garage with 23-year-old Aaron Amador wearing only his underwear in the driver’s seat.

A 13-year-old girl was in the passenger seat.

“An open container of alcohol was found,” Payne said. “The presence of marijuana was also observed.”

Payne said Amador “tried to make every excuse” to police. He was arrested on a previous warrant for assault and battery and faces additional charges of lewd conduct and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

The girl’s mother, Chance Roberts, told KFOR-TV that she was shocked by the incident because her daughter did not have a cell phone or use social media.

“She got her friend’s cell phone and just logged in,” Roberts said.

She said her daughter told her she was going to the park down the street with her cousins ​​that night.

“I’m still processing the whole situation,” she added.

Ms Roberts thanked police for taking the report seriously.

“I don’t even know if I can put into words how much I appreciate them and how much I love what they did and what they couldn’t do and most police didn’t do.” Roberts concluded. “So they could have saved my daughter’s life.”
