The Republican National Committee (RNC) reportedly sent a letter to the Secret Service asking it to keep demonstrators away from the Milwaukee convention site in July.

The Secret Service’s proposed security plan would place demonstrators in Pere Marquette Park, a small park 400 meters from the convention center, according to the letter.
