Joy Behar briefly appeared on ABC’s “The View” Tuesday with a now-deleted image that was reposted to Donald Trump’s Truth social account, calling for a “united empire.” While discussing the video, he told his co-star that people who wear MAGA hats should “draw a swastika” on their hats.
“I think it’s very dangerous to shout out the quiet parts, and I just don’t understand what Mr. Biden can do to counter that narrative,” co-host Sunny Hostin said. If you don’t listen to him, you won’t hear anything.”
Co-host Sarah Haines agrees with the statement about the gravity of references to empire and World War II. He openly praises dictators. , I respect them for being able to shut down everything else. I think that’s why he’s thinking about all of that. He’s eating with Nazis and white supremacists. .”
Behar said, “When this Third Reich comes along, I don’t think it’s just about Jews. It’s about immigrants and non-whites. I mean, let me be clear.”
“By the way, that hat you keep wearing, that red hat that says ‘Make America Great Again,’ tells people you’re following this, so you better put a swastika on your hat. I guess,” he added. ”
Mr. Haynes said, “Don’t do that.”
“Because that’s what we’re seeing anyway,” Behar said.
Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said: So this is what’s coming down. That’s not good for Americans. This is not the American way. ”
