‘Life Changing Moment’: Isaiah Thomas Claims He Had AK-47 Pulled On Him (I’m Calling Cap)

Nobody believes this.

NBA Free Agents Isaiah Thomas While he may be right about the state of American youth today, I have to say that the story he’s telling is completely false.

Thomas claimed on social media on Tuesday that he and his friends experienced a “life-changing moment” when a young man pointed an AK-47 at them. And what makes this story even more interesting (and we can’t help but think he’s lying here) is that Thomas said the shooter recognized him and backed off.

That was the only information provided by NBA players. (RELATED: Bronny James turns down multiple workout invites, only accepts Lakers and Suns visits: Report)

“It’s amazing how these young kids get around!!! A truly life changing moment yesterday when a kid pulled an AK47 on me and my buddies. If he hadn’t realised who I was and that it was me in my city he probably would have taken all of our lives. Be careful,” Thomas tweeted.

“All we can do is pray for these young people!!! God was at work yesterday. Damn it, one moment could have ended it all. For no reason at all!!!!!”

Thomas deleted the tweet just hours after people on social media began questioning the veracity of the story.

Cap! Cap! Cap! At 35, Isaiah Thomas knows his NBA career is nearing the end and this is just a desperate attempt to stay relevant. Cap!
