Actor James Woods (Once upon a time in America) spoke out after a jury in a Manhattan criminal trial found former President Donald Trump guilty on 34 charges.
“The Democrats have gone too far in this case. It would have been more authentic if they had given clear instructions to the jury and voted guilty on some of the charges. This is completely ridiculous,” Woods said on X.

Similarly, Rob Schneider said Trump was convicted by “biased Democrats.”
And just like that…
A former American president was hunted down and convicted by bigoted Democrats.
If Republicans regain power, they will have to retaliate against the Democrats.

Prominent left-leaning figures celebrated victory following the verdict.
Convicted felon Donald Trump blames the judge, jury, and New York for convicting him on 34 charges. He will never accept responsibility for his crimes. The American people should never allow this felon anywhere near the White House again. https://t.co/UcFfAU3bv5

The big question now is whether a conviction will be enough to tip the tide from former President Trump to Biden ahead of the election on November 5. While accurate polls on the matter will take at least a week, Karl Rove, a mainstream Republican who has previously criticized Trump, said on Fox News this week that a conviction could cost Trump important swing votes in key states such as Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
“If he is convicted, we should not underestimate the problem.” Said Karl Rove.

“Think about that: 11% are less likely to vote for him in Michigan, where Donald Trump is up half a percentage point in the RealClearPolitics average, in Pennsylvania, where he’s up 2%, in Wisconsin, where he’s up three-tenths of a percent,” Rove continued. “So in the close races that we’re likely to face, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11% of voters are less likely to vote for you, that’s a problem.”
