Singer-songwriter Adele has reprimanded fans after a member of the audience reportedly yelled “Pride sucks” between songs during her concert this weekend.
In a short clip The video, posted by another concert-goer, sees Adele pick up a handheld microphone and respond to the negative comments.
“You came to my shitty show and told me Pride sucks? Are you stupid? Don’t be stupid,” Adele said, sitting by a piano in a long black dress.
The audience applauded the singer’s response.
“If you don’t have anything nice to say, just shut up, OK?” Adele added.
The interaction took place on June 1, the first day of Pride Month, a national holiday for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies.
Adele is currently performing at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas as part of a concert at the legendary venue.
