DETROIT, Michigan — Political strategist Roger Stone told Breitbart News that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential bid was “designed to draw votes from former President Donald Trump.”
“I believe a vote for Robert Kennedy is the same as a vote for Joe Biden,” Stone told Breitbart News at Turning Point Action’s “People’s Convention” in Detroit, Michigan, on Saturday.

“It’s hard to make a blanket statement about the country, but if you look at the battleground states, in most battleground states Trump is taking votes away from him when he doesn’t have the ability to beat him,” Stone continued.
Stone added that Kennedy Jr. “talks about health freedom, he talks about opposition to the war in Ukraine and he talks about borders, but he never talks about his pro-abortion-on-demand stance or his radical climate change stance, where he thinks people who disagree with climate change should be arrested.”
“I think this is designed to take votes away from Donald Trump and benefit Joe Biden, because he never talks about reparations,” Stone said.

“Again, it’s not true in every state, so I can’t generalize, but when you look at the polls, that’s my overall impression,” he added.
After being asked what he would say to Kennedy Jr. if he met him in person, Stone replied, “I would ask him why he chose a globalist who made his fortune solely through Internet censorship and manipulation as his running mate.”
Notably, Stone was referring to Nicole Shanahan, the former wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, a left-leaning lawyer who donated thousands of dollars to President Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign and was announced by Kennedy Jr. in April as Biden’s running mate.

“It’s amazing how Nicole Shanahan went from being a radical progressive who funded a campaign to defund the police in California to suddenly being someone complaining about internet censorship overnight. I would say talk to your ex-husband who got all of your money in the divorce. You should probably discuss the issue with him,” Stone said.
