Justice Alito slams White House in social media case dissent

Justice Samuel Alito slammed the White House in a Supreme Court dissent on Wednesday, accusing the Biden administration of leading a “campaign to coerce Facebook” as it sought to curb misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic on social media. Justice Alito, along with fellow conservative Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil Gorsuch, dissented from six of his majority colleagues in dismissing a lawsuit challenging the Biden administration’s decision.
