Joe Biden’s Debate ‘Not Great’; Still Thinks He Can Beat Trump

“Biden is the nominee. I think he’s going to be the nominee. I’m going to do everything I can to get him elected,” he added.

The Vermont progressive argued that Trump “continued to lie” during Thursday’s presidential debate, while Biden “didn’t speak very clearly.”

“He wasn’t focused,” he said. “He didn’t live up to a very strong record. He should have told the American people loud and clear that he was the first president in American history to stand on a picket line.”

“He’s a very strong man,” said Michael LaRose, a former press secretary to First Lady Jill Biden. Breitbart News Saturday Moderator Matthew Boyle said any discussion about Biden leaving office must come from congressional leadership.

“That’s the kind of thing, and I think it’s important for the audience to know that that’s the kind of thing that’s probably going to come from congressional leadership, in both parties,” he said, referring to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.).
