Trump campaign launches fundraiser for Pennsylvania rally shooting victims

Trump campaign A fundraising campaign has begun For the victims caught in the shootout following the attempted assassination of a former president.

The online appeal raised just under $85,000 within the first hour.

“President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a venue for donations to benefit his supporters and their families who were injured or killed in today’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt,” Meredith O’Rourke, Trump campaign finance director and senior adviser, wrote.

The shooting left at least one person dead and another seriously injured, while an unknown number of other victims were injured.
