An emergency physician who attempted to assist a passerby who was allegedly shot at former President Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania has described what he witnessed.
“I heard gunshots. At first I thought it was firecrackers. Then I heard someone screaming over there. He’d been shot,” said the man, who was wearing a blood-stained U.S. national team shirt.
“He’d been shot, so I went over there, I’m an emergency room doctor, I said let me help, and the guy spun around and was pinned between the benches, he’d been shot in the head, there was a lot of blood,” he continued, describing the horrific scene, telling others they saw “part of the brain.”
He explained that people were very cooperative and that CPR and chest compressions were being administered to the person, who was then scheduled to be transported by helicopter.

Witnesses described what happened moments after shots were fired at the rally, with Trump first crouching and clutching his ear, then raising his fist as blood was visible down the side of his face.

The Trump campaign said Trump is “in good spirits,” but the world is still waiting for more details.
The suspect was then reportedly “neutralized,” which typically means he is dead.
