Exclusive — Trump Campaign, RNC Release Video Series Slamming Kamala Harris’s ‘Freedom’ for Criminals Position

The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee (RNC) have released a series of videos slamming Vice President Kamala Harris, whom the Democrats selected as their candidate without the cooperation of actual voters, for falsely portraying the Republican Party as anti-liberal, Breitbart News has obtained exclusively.

The Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee are looking to recruit Harris as their first Democratic nominee. Presidential AdvertisementIn it, she makes a bizarre attempt to portray former President Donald Trump and his supporters as a party of “hate” and “fear.”

“But what about us? We make a different choice. We choose freedom,” Harris says in the ad, touting the freedom to abort a fetus, as well as the Democrats’ anti-gun control and pro-LGBTQ+ policies.

In a new video series, Republicans are correcting the record, clarifying who Harris is talking about when she claims to support expanding “freedom” for Americans.

“When Kamala Harris says ‘freedom,’ she means freedom for criminal illegal immigrants,” the Republicans concluded, responding in each video to Harris’ statement that “we choose freedom” with, “Freedom for who?”

In one video reviewed by Breitbart News, Harris says she supports “starting from scratch” with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and supporting not classifying illegal border crossers as criminals. The video focuses on the horrific murder of Laken Riley and the illegal immigrants who allegedly killed her, with the caption “Freedom for Whom?”

Other videos in the series showcase Harris’ support for releasing criminals from prison, with the former senator touting her goal of reimagining public safety.

“The idea that the only way to make our communities safer is to put more police on our streets is an outdated and flawed concept,” Harris said in the ad. “These [police] Create a budget and determine whether it reflects the right priorities.”

Another video in the series falls in line with Harris’ main theme of supporting the release of criminals, focusing on the release of violent offenders in particular. The short ad featured the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a Minnesota bail fund supported by Harris that has led to the release of domestic violence suspects.

The final video in the series, titled “When Kamala Harris Says ‘Freedom,’ She Means Terrorist ‘Freedom,'” shows Harris in an exchange with Don Lemon, in which he asks her, “Should people who are on death row, like the Boston Marathon bombers, or people who have been convicted of sexual assault, be able to vote?”

“I think we should have that conversation,” Harris responded as footage was played of the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, as well as a short clip of Larry Nassar, the former USA Gymnastics doctor convicted of sexually abusing young female athletes, underscoring her interest in discussing giving those people the right to vote.

All of this dovetails with a larger claim that Trump and his allies continue to make: that Kamala Harris is “dangerously liberal.”

“In Kamala Harris and Joe Biden’s America, illegal immigrants are invading our borders, committing heinous crimes and denying women like Rachel Maureen and Laken Riley the freedom to run freely in neighborhoods that were once safe for them,” Carolyn Leavitt, national spokesperson for the Trump campaign, said in an exclusive statement, painting a grim picture.

She continued:

Drug traffickers are flooding our nation with illegal fentanyl, robbing millions of Americans of their freedoms and livelihoods with its deadly poison, and by promising to confiscate firearms, Kamala Harris is threatening to strip millions of law-abiding Americans of their freedom and right to self-defense.

“Kamala Harris is a dangerous liberal who believes in more government and less freedom,” Leavitt added.

Trump himself was among those who highlighted the differences between himself and Harris.
