Former President Trump responded as law enforcement officials launched a manhunt Thursday after an Arizona man allegedly threatened to kill the Republican presidential candidate as he campaigned on the southern border in Cochise County.
A spokesperson for the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Fox News Digital that suspect Ronald Lee Sivrad, 66, of Benson, was taken into custody without incident Thursday.
Fox News senior reporter Alicia Acuña asked Trump whether the threats against him made him want to do the event differently.
“I’ve heard about it, but you have to do your job,” he said. “It’s a job. It’s a dangerous job, but you have to do your job.”
