This is in line with the latest Economist/YouGov polling, which shows support for Trump is growing again among independents.
According to Breitbart News detail:
As expected, Trump leads among Republicans and Harris leads among Democrats, but Trump has regained a solid lead among independents, with 42% backing him and 37% backing Harris, a difference of 5 percentage points.
This reflects a slow rise in Trump's support over the past few weeks. Harris initially led with independents, but three weeks ago they were both tied at 36%, before Trump took a one-point lead the following week. Last week, the two were tied at 38% with this group. In other words, after the DNC and Kennedy Jr.'s withdrawal, Trump's approval rating among independents has risen by four points in the last week alone.
Among independents, 2% also chose Stein and 1% chose West, with 2% saying they would not vote if given those options, down from 6% last week.
All eyes will be on CNN on Thursday night as Harris gives her first interview since being crowned by the Democratic Party's elite.
“CNN's Dana Bash has a chance for greatness today. If she interviews Comrade Kamala Harris fairly and tough, she will expose her as totally unfit and incompetent for the office of the President, just as I exposed Joe Biden's vices in our now famous debates,” Trump said on Truth Social, anticipating the interview.
“How great would that be for Dana and CNN? Also, the interview should not have Tampon Tim present to ambush Kamala's inevitable stumbles, and under no circumstances should they be allowed to change the record in any way, shape or form,” the former president continued.
“Dana and Jake were fair and firm in their debate with myself and CNN's Crowded Joe. This is Dana Bash's chance to become a true star while also making a huge contribution to our country in decline. Good luck, Dana, do the right thing!!!” he said.
