Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) said on MSNBC's “Inside” on Sunday that MAGA is a domestic threat fueled by former President Donald Trump.
“Springfield is going through hell, but they're going through hell because a guy who says he wants to be commander in chief is actually bringing that hell on them. He's decided to spread lies on the national forum, and it's hurting the American people, and that's a problem. When I talk about MAGA, I talk about the fact that when we were last sworn in, we swore to protect ourselves from those who are against us, whether that be at home or abroad. Right now, I feel that MAGA is a threat domestically in general. We're seeing that time and time again,” Crockett said.
She continued: “This is the same man who is supposed to protect us from those who disagree with us. This is the same man who couldn't say at the debates that he wanted Ukraine to win. He doesn't understand who our friends are and who we are as a nation, a nation of immigrants.”
Crockett added, “The issue isn't people coming into the country, it's this man and his associates making bomb threats all over the country. Domestic terrorism is real and he's inciting it.”
