An Ohio man wearing a blonde wig, makeup and a pearl necklace was arrested after he allegedly tried to kidnap an 11-year-old boy outside his home in Alliance, police said.
According to Alliance police, Joshua Freiermuth, 39, was taken into custody Sunday in the 2200 block of Route 62 in Columbiana County on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
The suspect also goes by the name Vicky. Daily Mail.
According to a police report, Freiermuth allegedly lured an 11-year-old boy away from his property on South Webb Avenue and told the boy he “wanted to talk to him” while trying to get him away from his dog. WOIO reports.

When the boy refused, Freiermuth attempted to grab him, but police say the boy was able to escape and is now safe.
Appearing in court, Freiermuth denied the charges against him.
“I wasn't there,” Freyremuth said in court. “I didn't kidnap anyone.”

The boy also allegedly claimed his dog had attacked Mr Freiermuth, but Mr Freiermuth argued in court that there were no dog bite marks on the boy.
“My dog attacked my son when he grabbed him by the arm and he stumbled down the stairs,” his father, Zachary Thurmond, told WOIO..“He took off his heels — my son said he was wearing white heels — and ran down the street.”

Freiermuth's bail was set at $100,000 and he is prohibited from having any contact with the victim. He is scheduled to appear again in court on Monday.
The incident remains under investigation.
Freyremuth was also arrested on Friday on suspicion of drug possession. He has been released on bail in that case.
