Trump Narrowly Leads Arizona, Tied in Wisconsin

Polls show former President Donald Trump has a narrow lead in the key battleground state of Arizona, but is tied with Vice President Kamala Harris in the key battleground state of Wisconsin.

The Rasmussen poll, which surveyed 1,030 Arizona voters with a margin of error of plus or minus three points, showed Trump leading Kamala Harris in the state, 49 percent to 47 percent.

A similar poll of 1,071 Wisconsin voters with a similar margin of error also found Trump tied with Kamala Harris, 49 percent to 49 percent.

The poll also offers some interesting insights into state U.S. Senate races, which could tip the balance in favor of Republicans and determine whether we have a more united or divided government.

In Arizona, Democrat Ruben Gallego is currently leading Republican Kali Lake, a Trump supporter, by two points (47 percent to 45 percent).

In Wisconsin, incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin (Democrat) is leading Republican Eric Hovde by 4 percentage points.

The poll gives Harris 49 percent of the support in the race for the Keystone State's 19 electoral votes, compared with Trump's 44 percent.

The poll results were within a margin of error of 4.0 percentage points at a 95 percent confidence level, including design effects.

The Hill/Decision Desk polling average gives Harris a 1.2 percentage point lead in the state, which has her with 49.1 percent support to Trump's 47.9 percent.

But as Breitbart News reported on Monday, The New York Times Polls showed the former president leading Harris in Sun Belt states such as Georgia, North Carolina and Arizona.
