Democratic vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz (D-Minn.) avoided discussing his and Vice President Kamala Harris' “terrible radical leftist policies” during the vice presidential debate, instead focusing on the “terrible radical left policies” under the Harris administration. He will strive to paint a rosy picture of the future. According to the Trump campaign.
Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller spoke at a press conference with House Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) about Walz and Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio). We previewed Tuesday's debate with the state. Let. Sergeant Major Tom Behrens and Veterans. Sergeant First Class Tom Schilling, who served with Walz in the Minnesota National Guard, also participated in the call, documenting how Walz retired after learning of his upcoming deployment to Iraq, effectively avoiding war.
I think Walz, who has implemented radical policies in Minnesota and faces accusations of stolen courage, will try to maintain his own enthusiasm to distract from Vice President Kamala Harris' record. When asked if he thought that was the case, Miller said Walz is good at deflecting.
“Tim Walz has a challenge, and I mean, as you've heard from Congressman Emmer and the gentlemen from Minnesota who have served our country, Tom Behrens and Tom Schilling, he's very good at this. Miller said.
“What I think Tim Walz is trying to do is try to paint a certain picture of this.” Pollyanna “Imagine how great things will be under Kamala Harris,” he continued. “And we see Tim Walz sidestep things like the desire to ban fracking, the desire to ban gasoline-powered cars, the desire to … grant amnesty to the more than 20 million illegal aliens in our country. I think it will happen.''
Miller expects Walz to “become a chameleon” on the debate stage.
“As Sen. Emmer said, he's going to be a chameleon, painting a rosy picture of great things to come,” Miller stressed. “He's not going to actually put forward the horrible radical left policies that he and Kamala Harris share.”
“But at some point here, it's going to be tough for Tim Walz,” he added. “He's going to have to make a business decision on that stage. Is he going to actually go and defend some of these crazy things that Kamala Harris is trying to put in place, or is he just going to ask questions? Are we going to pretend it never happened and refocus on one of the common phrases we hear from him?
At the beginning of the call, Mr. Miller predicted that Mr. Walz would portray himself as different from the “heavy-gesturing, effeminate caricature” he presents at rallies.
“He will be very well prepared for tomorrow night. Woltz is going to be well prepared,'' Miller said, adding that he is ready to “follow command.''
