“And one more thing, I was there last night…because this is 20 minutes from my house. Butler County is my hometown. Western Pennsylvania is my home base and has been in my family for generations, so I have a very special connection to it. I love western Pennsylvania. And President Trump insisted that the stage, Matt, be in the exact same location. Because he wanted to come back and finish the job, and, you know, he wanted to honor the president's contributions to the people of this region. Parnell said President Trump's resilience is “inspiring.”

“This reminds me of something I often say, and I feel like I've been saying more and more lately, that in times of great crisis, Americans deserve leaders, not politicians. ” he said. “And we see it unfolding before our eyes on the news almost every day, with people suffering in the Southeast, the Middle East at war, and the threat of Chinese invasion.”

“So…this country and this world needs a Donald Trump as president, and that task falls to us here in Pennsylvania, Matt, and that means there are a lot of swing states. We have a national audience. They all know that. But if we win Pennsylvania, it's over for Kamala. We win Pennsylvania and we save this country.” he added.

While viewers across the country and around the world will expect Trump to show strength and perseverance, the rally will be a surprise to the father and husband who was killed by Trump's would-be assassin at a rally in July. He stressed that the event will be “very, very, very different from the Trump rallies that people are used to seeing.”

Parnell also spoke about the July rally, praising Butler County residents and rally attendees for not panicking or becoming violent when a gunman opened fire on the then-Republican presidential candidate. . Mr. Parnell will actually address this topic in his speech at the rally.

“Donald Trump told me a part of his rally about Butler County and its resiliency and their response that day. By the way, this is a great honor, but Butler County “It's a tremendous responsibility to try to be a spokesperson for the patriots of the crowd who acted with honor,” he said.

“There was no panic. People didn't hurt each other. No one ran for their lives. They were united with President Trump,” he added.

He detailed that Parnell and other veterans were tasked with leading the evacuation of rally attendees while the Secret Service and law enforcement agencies dealt with the chaos following the shooting.

“Everyone we talked to was like, 'Is President Trump OK?' That was at the forefront of their minds,” he said. pointed out that he was still not sure.

“Their first instinct in this area was not to care about their own safety, health, or well-being. It's about worrying about someone else, and that's exactly what happened here in western Pennsylvania and throughout Pennsylvania. It speaks volumes about the character of the people in the community,” Parnell emphasized.

He also described the mood in the crowd as President Trump stood up, defiantly pumped his fist and shouted “Fight!”

“The roar from that crowd was unlike anything I've ever heard at a Trump rally before. I mean, you know, I've spoken at many indoor Trump rallies, and you know, the roar from that crowd. “The outcry can be pretty loud, but it was just unbelievable,” he said. “But what sticks in my mind is, Matt, he didn't want to get off the stage, but no one talked about this. He was like, 'Let me stand up.' did. Please get off me. He wanted to continue. The Secret Service wouldn't let him. ”
