The Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets proved over the past two days that there's nothing quite like playoff baseball in October.
On Sunday, it was the Phillies who delivered a classic moment.
The Mets were trailing by two runs when Mark Vientos came up to bat in the top of the ninth inning. Vientos hit a clutch two-run homer off Matt Stram to tie the game.

But Philadelphia got the final straw.
Tyler Megill was sent to the mound to force overtime. He struck out Austin Hayes and popped Kyle Schwarber to third base. All the Mets had to do was get one more out. Megill gave the Phillies hope by walking Trea Turner and Bryce Harper.
Nick Castellanos then hit a single into the left field seats on the ropes, and Turner scored from second base. The Phillies won 7-6, tying the series at 1-1.
Castellanos had three hits in five at bats and two RBIs in the game. In the 6th inning, he hit a solo home run off Luis Severino. Harper also hit a home run in the game, going 1-for-4 at bat.

Castellanos, Harper and Turner each scored two goals. Bryson Stott had two hits for four, a triple and one RBI.
The Mets struggled for the third time in a row. Pete Alonso's clutch home run won the National League Wild Card Series against the Milwaukee Brewers, and Vientos and Brandon Nimmo had clutch hits in Game 1 against the Phillies.
Vientos had 3 hits for 4 at bats and 4 RBIs in the game. Nimmo and Francisco Lindor each had two hits.
Mets starting pitcher Severino allowed six hits, three runs, and struck out seven. Phillies starter Christopher Sanchez allowed five hits and two runs.
