50 Cent received support from some star athletes after announcing his first ever Las Vegas stop.
Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton said he wanted to show 50 Cent some love after he got home from the club at 4 a.m. The video shows him shirtless with his girlfriend Jade Jones and two of her friends.
“What's up bro? I wanted to congratulate you on your stay in Las Vegas,” Halliburton said in the video, which 50 Cent reposted to his Instagram Story. “You've always shown me love, so I want to return the love. Thank you. Congratulations. It's a big, big honor.
“It's 4 in the morning. I just got back from the club and I have to show my boyfriend some love. Congratulations. Keep it up.”
At the time, Jones and his friends shouted, “Congratulations!”
Haliburton gave the club a hit before the Pacers open the 2024-25 season against the Pistons in Detroit on Wednesday.
The two-time NBA All-Star wasn't the only pro athlete to send congratulations to 50 Cent.
Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner praised the rapper in a video on his Instagram Story.
“This is a power-up,” Gardner said of the rapper's Las Vegas residency. Among them are six performances scheduled for New Year's week at Planet Hollywood's PH Live.
“You know what I'm saying. You're showing people that things like this are possible. So keep doing your job. Stay motivated, stay inspired. Please continue. I love you all.”
This comes after 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) and Gardner posed for a photo together on the sideline before the Jets vs. Bills Monday Night Football game on Oct. 14. It was. Buffalo defeated New York 23-20.
