Podcaster and political commentator Dave Portnoy reacted to Donald Trump winning the presidential election after a tumultuous campaign in a video shared on social media.
“He just didn't win. He won for fun. He won the election, he won the popular vote, he got more votes than last time,” Portnoy said in a video he shared. Fox News' Decision Desk projected a victory for Trump on Wednesday, with key wins in a handful of battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Portnoy said Trump won by a larger margin than before because Democrats made choices that insulted independents and other voters.
“Democrats didn't give us a choice,” he said. “That was the worst campaign ever. Pure arrogance and moral superiority drove people away. When you say you're going to vote for Trump, all of a sudden you're a Nazi, you're Hitler, you're trash. Enough is enough, enough is enough! ” ”
“Millions, millions, millions of people voted for Trump,” Portnoy continued. “He clearly won. He won decisively.”
“So when you call us that, you're calling the majority of the country 'racist, Hitler, Nazis,'” Portnoy said. “I don't think you understand what that means. You act like you're better than us, you're smarter than us, and you frankly insult our intelligence. , it’s alienating all of this middle-class people.”

Portnoy said Harris' pitch to voters was that Trump was a threat to democracy and that the vice president had focused his campaign on “fear-mongering.”
“That's garbage,” he said. “Tonight is about the Democrats. Congratulations, Donald Trump. I voted for him. Because of the campaign that the Democrats ran, I felt like I had no choice but to vote for him.”
