Texas Offers 1,400 Acres to Trump Admin for Criminal Migrant Detention/Deportation Center

Texas General Land Office (GLO) Director Dawn Buckingham has offered to lease 1,400 acres of land near the state border with Mexico to the incoming Trump administration. The land will be used to build a facility for the processing, detention and deportation of violent criminal immigrants.

like the first time reported According to FOX News' Adam Shaw, Secretary Buckingham sent a letter to President-elect Donald J. Trump offering land in Starr County, Texas. In the letter, Buckingham said his office is “not prepared to enter into an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or U.S. Border Protection that would permit the construction of processing, detention, and detention facilities.” It is fully equipped,” he said. “This is the largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation's history,” the letter (attached below) states.

“By providing this newly acquired 1,400 acres of land to the incoming Trump administration for the construction of the largest deportation, detention, and coordination facility for violent criminals in our nation's history, I am “We stand together with President Donald Trump to ensure American families are protected,” Buckingham told Breitbart, Texas. “The rape and murder of our sons and daughters will no longer be tolerated. Our state will continue to be a beacon of hope, justice, and dignity for all who call Texas home.”

Texas GLO purchased land from ranchers in October to build additional border wall along the Texas-Mexico border. Shaw reported that officials said the area was known as a drug and human smuggling area. GLO is offering to lease the land to the federal government.

A GLO spokesperson told Breitbart that Texas will build about 1.5 miles of border wall along the Rio Grande frontage of the site.

“The previous owner refused to build a wall and actively prevented law enforcement from accessing the property,” the secretary continued in the letter. “Her actions allowed cartel members and violent criminals to sexually abuse immigrant women and children on this land for a time.”

Buckingham made headlines when he declared an island along his property in Rio Grande, Texas, in 2023. Breitbart Texas reported that Mexican cartels previously used the 170-acre island as a front for drug and human body smuggling operations.

“My promise to Texans is that we will do everything in our power to stop illegal immigration and human trafficking along the Texas-Mexico border,” Buckingham told Breitbart at the time.

“Our Texas law enforcement agencies are working day and night to clear dense vegetation on 170 acres of Fronton Island. We are determined to protect this land and suppress cartel activity.” I cannot thank the Texas Department of Public Safety, the Texas Rangers, and the Texas Department of Military Affairs enough for their efforts,” the Land Secretary continued. “Operation Flattop was a great success, and we are grateful that the Texas General Land Office was able to play such an important role by providing the survey and mapping data to declare this island as federal land. Thank you very much.”

The ranch, proposed as a deportation and detention facility for criminal immigrants, is located approximately 32 miles east of Fronton Island.

Earlier this week, President-elect Trump suggested he might deploy the U.S. military to reverse the Biden border crisis as part of his promised mass deportation plan.

Breitbart's Randy Clark writes, “President-elect Donald J. Trump is sending a clear message that the military will participate in his border security plan and play a role in the mass deportation operations he promised during his campaign.'' ” he wrote. “On Monday, President Trump criticized Tom Fitton, president of the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, for suggesting that the president intends to use the military to “reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation plan.'' Re-truthling the post, Trump confirmed this on his Truth Social platform with one word: “TRUE!!!” ”
