We always knew Joe Biden would forgive his troubled son Hunter, no matter how many times he promised not to.

It is no surprise, then, that one of the last acts of this deceitful president before leaving office was to break further promises to the American people.

So on Sunday night, the president issued a statement from the White House declaring that he had signed a “full and unconditional pardon” for Robert Hunter Biden, 54.

Biden pardons son Hunter Biden before leaving White House

The pardon that Joe swore he would never grant comes after Hunter was sentenced in June to a felony firearms charge in Delaware and in September to a felony tax fraud charge in California to which he pleaded guilty on the first day of trial. This took place a few days before I was scheduled to receive it.

Joe claims that Hunter was “selectively and unfairly prosecuted. It's clear that Hunter was treated special…just because he's my son.” There is.

In an interesting twist, the president lied about his lies and explained all the lies to the American people. “Throughout my career, I have lived by a simple principle: Just tell the American people the truth.”

change one's obvious attitude

Joe told reporters in June after Hunter was convicted of a felony gun charge in Delaware that he would never forgive his son.

“I said I would abide by the jury's decision,” he said at the G7 summit in Italy. “I will. And I will not forgive him.”

When asked by a reporter, “Are you considering commuting your son's sentence?'' 82-year-old Joe replied, “No.''

That would be enough for an honest president, but it meant little to Pinocchio, the allegorist and plagiarist currently holding the office.

So too did the eternally ignorant Karine Jean-Pierre, who repeatedly asserted from the White House podium that no pardon would come.

No wonder Hunter looked so smug when he was photographed out and about on Nantucket with his father and the Biden family last weekend.

For a man facing two prison sentences, he was chewing gum and acting like he didn't have a care in the world.

Hunter Biden says his mistake was 'exploited' by political sports, and he'll never forgive himself

Hours after Joe and Hunter dined at the Nantucket restaurant Brotherhood of Thieves, The Washington Post published excerpts from a document written Saturday by the eldest son's lawyer who made an emotional case for his pardon. Posted.

Mr. Hunter's father is the only person on earth with the power to pardon Mr. Hunter, so at least until his presidential term ends on January 20, the 52-page paper has an audience of one. In other words, it appears to have been written to the man in the Oval Office who was on vacation. I went to Nantucket Island with my family.

But Hunter and his lawyer say he was there every day with his father, hanging out at private equity billionaire David Rubenstein's rented mansion and wandering through bookstores buying anti-Israel books. So why did he feel the need to leak this heartbreaking document? Did you see the Christmas tree illuminations in town?

This document was clearly a carefully crafted excuse created by Joe to make the American public believe that Hunter was a victim of political persecution suffered by his father's power and influence.

Read excerpts from his lawyer's heartbreaking letter, titled “Political Prosecution of Hunter Biden,” and you'll see the resonance with Joe's statement Sunday night. You can see that they have serious concerns about Hunter's future now that the terrifying Donald Trump is in power.

“Now that the election has been decided, the threats against Hunter are real,” the attorneys wrote.

“There is no dispute that President Trump has said that Hunter is on his list of enemies.…If the special counsel does not take a tougher stance against Hunter, President Trump There is no doubt that the prospect of retaliation against officials will put considerable pressure on them.

Abby Rowell, Mr. Hunter's high-priced lead attorney, dramatically described the piece as “a complete and reprehensible history of political persecution against Hunter Biden…an unrelenting desire to exploit the son and harm the father.” “The story of seven years driven by political greed.”

This is a “wild and frightening story… some of the same Republicans who targeted Hunter are preparing to return to power and are intent on using the government's vast powers to pursue their perceived enemies.'' This is a stark warning of what is to come.”

His paper is hilarious.

Jonathan Turley: Joe Biden's son Hunter pardon cements his legacy as liar in chief

Hunter knowingly commits a forgiven sin, and does so in the arrogant belief that his father's power makes him untouchable.

He was absolutely right.

And despite Lowell's excuse that Hunter was “deeply addicted to drugs,” his timeline presented in court shows that Hunter was sober at the time of the tax evasion.

Hunter's father and lawyer spun a fictional story, expecting that most people wouldn't know the whole story.

The truth is that Hunter's defense team bullied the Department of Justice into not indicting Hunter and brought up Joe's name to do so.

Without it they would have succeeded IRS Whistleblower Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler told Congress the truth about years of political obstruction of the investigation in order to benefit Hunter and hide Joe's involvement in a scheme to spread the family's influence.

“While we have not yet seen this 'report,' Hunter Biden's legal team has consistently gone to extreme lengths to attack those of us who performed our duties as career law enforcement officers.” Shapley and Ziegler said Saturday.

Whistleblower's anger

“No amount of lies and fabrications can hide the simple truth that the Department of Justice nearly let the president's son get away with multiple felonies.

“We did our duty, we told the truth, we followed the law. Now, anyone reading Mr. Biden's lawyer's excuses knows that Mr. Biden has admitted to tax crimes in federal court, his lawyer is targeting us for a legitimate whistleblower disclosure, and we are suing one of its lawyers for falsely accusing us.”

While the Bidens are right to say that the legal system has been “corrupted by the political leaders of this country,” or, in Joe's words, “raw politics has infected this process,” their pretense is Wrong.

Hunter received an unfair advantage thanks to his father's power. He knew that he could break the law with impunity and that no one could stop him from doing what he wanted. Each time he made a mistake, his father and his minions from the FBI, Justice Department, IRS, State Department, and CIA intervened to get him out of harm's way.

The fraud investigation in Delaware was just the tip of the iceberg. Hunter didn't even have to worry about legal fees or living expenses to support his lavish lifestyle. Daddy's donors always came.

The person who corrupted this country's legal system is Joe Biden. He used it as a weapon against political opponent Donald Trump and Trump supporters. The victim of wrongful prosecution is Trump, not Hunter.

But the American people understand that. That was proven on election day when they elected Trump in a landslide, albeit a legal one.

That's why the news of Hunter's pardon was the least surprising news of the decade. No one believes Biden's word.
