Following President Joe Biden's sweeping pardon for his son Hunter Biden's alleged crimes, liberal media insiders are saying that President Joe Biden has called on a wide range of political allies, including Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci. He suggested that he be pardoned.
“Is Hunter the only one who will be saved here?” Tommy Vieter, a former press secretary to President Barack Obama and co-host of the popular left-wing podcast “Pod Save America,” asked Tuesday.
“What about Dr. Fauci? What about Liz Cheney, who they say should be tried for treason?” he continued.
The show's other host, former speechwriter for President Obama, Jon Favreau, agreed.
“If Joe Biden had come out over the weekend or in the next few weeks, or maybe before he left, he would have said, 'Look, I'm not sure if Donald Trump ran a campaign where he prosecuted and dumped people who didn't agree with him. 'They are in prison.' Kash Patel and Matt Gaetz and all these people are showing that he's going to get away with it. So I'm talking about all the people who were targeted and were on President Trump's enemy list. We will grant a full pardon to all,” Favreau said.

“If he does that, I think Hunter's pardon seems more acceptable to me. If he doesn't do it, it's his own son that he saved, and he's not just an abused boy. I think what's even more frustrating is that it wasn't a large group of people who were “public servants doing their jobs,'' Favreau continued.
Biden's team appears to have heard the allegations from the former vice presidential candidate's media associates, and the day after the podcast aired, Politico reported that Biden's aides had spoken to Fauci, Cheney, the former Democratic Party of California, and others. The agency reported that it was “actively discussing within the company'' whether to pre-emptively pardon the person. Senator-elect Adam Schiff.
NEWS: Biden's top aides are having intense internal discussions about whether to grant pre-emptive pardons, an unusual move that shields potential targets of President Trump from prosecution.
The question is whether we should err on the side of protecting people like Fauci, Schiff and Cheney just in case.

It's notable that Fauci and Cheney's names are included in Politico's report.
Pod Save America staff specifically cited Kash Patel, President Trump's pick for FBI Director, as the main force behind the need for these pardons. (Related: Republican lawmaker points out the obvious when CNN host asks if Trump's FBI nominations are aimed at “political opponents”)
“There is a lot of evidence that Kash Patel is the one who maintains the enemy list. In fact, he announced this in his book, which includes Tim Miller tweeted this complete list, which includes people from Bill Barr and John Bolton to former Obama aides John Brennan and Loretta Lynch to Hillary Clinton. ” Vieter pointed out.
Miller himself has been a vocal critic of Trump, tweeting that an appendix to Patel's book “Government Gangsters” includes a list of “deep state members in the executive branch.”
The list Miller tweeted included the names of 60 prominent government figures who have opposed Trump, but did not include Fauci, Cheney or Schiff.

Patel insisted his list was “not exhaustive” and included only current and former executive branch officials. Although he was highly critical of Schiff and Cheney throughout the rest of the book, he never mentioned Dr. Fauci.
