President-elect Donald Trump has announced the selection of attorney Alina Haba to join the White House team and serve as an advisor to the president.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said was praised Mr Haba said he was a “tireless defender of justice” and a “fervent defender of the rule of law”. Trump added that Haba had stood by him “through several trials and “countless days in court” and that his “loyalty was unwavering.”
“I am pleased to announce that Alina Haba will be joining my White House team as an Advisor to the President,” President Trump wrote. “Alina is a tireless champion of justice, a passionate defender of the rule of law, and a valued advisor to my campaign and transition team.”
President Trump added, “She was unwavering in her loyalty, unparalleled in her determination, and supported me through numerous 'trials,' battles, and countless days in court.” he added. “Few people understand the weaponization of systems of ‘injustice’ better than Alina, who has fought relentlessly against the full force of lawfare with courage and an unwavering commitment to justice.”
President Trump added, “As a first-generation Middle Eastern American, she is a role model for women in law and politics, and was recently named Chaldean Woman of the Year.” .

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the 45th and 47th presidents and the American people,” Haba wrote.
