Thousands of pages were removed from the spending agreement due to MAGA Republican revolt.

The original bill was 1,547 pages, but the new bill is only 118 to 1,359 fewer pages than the original bill.

It also includes disaster relief and agricultural aid.

It does not include the debt ceiling extension that President Trump had hoped for.

Breitbart reported:

The House bill introduced Friday to avert a government shutdown was cut by 1,359 pages after America First Republicans pushed back against House Speaker Mike Johnson's pork-filled original bill.

This reduction in size highlights the failure of Prime Minister Johnson's original plan. That means passing huge spending bills with support from Democrats, bills that lawmakers barely read before asking them to vote.

The original bill proposed Wednesday was 1,547 pages long. Friday's bill was condensed to 118 pages and excluded the extreme amounts of pork that Johnson had originally allowed.

The bill provides funding to the government through March 14 and includes disaster relief and agricultural assistance.

The bill does not include an extension to the debt ceiling that President-elect Donald Trump had requested, leaving Johnson's re-election as chairman on January 3 in a precarious position.
