Well, undercover reporting suggests that some key members of the Biden administration were well aware of his cognitive decline long before it became apparent to the public, but they still had little to say about his stability and competence. I continued to paint a false narrative.

“So, let's have some tea. Joe Biden is kind of dead. Not literally. Well, he can't say a word. He really feels like he's advanced into old age. No one. recognizes that. I can't believe there wasn't a bigger scandal earlier,” Appel said. “He will be dead within a year.”
Appel also described how Biden, who was traveling overseas at the time, called his office and asked for NSC adviser Jake Sullivan. Appel had to explain to the president that Sullivan was traveling with Biden.
Appel's confession highlights a gross disregard for transparency and accountability at the highest levels of government.
