A bizarre video has been released showing an exchange between two women who are accused of trying to run away from a nail salon in Compton, California.
Diane Nguyen of Tip Top Nails Compton told KTTV-TV about the incident, which was posted on TikTok.
“These guys are good people and you both were trying to corner her!”
Nguyen said the two women refused to pay for their nail treatments, so he hurriedly closed the door and locked himself inside the store. Another sympathetic customer began videotaping the entire incident.
While waiting for the police to arrive, the two women become even more agitated and angry.
At one point, one of the women actually pulled down her pants and exposed herself to the person recording the incident.
“Oh, thank you! Thank you! TikTok! It's exploding!” the woman replied.
Nguyen said the women ran into the bathroom and flushed what appeared to be $100 bills before police arrived. She said she was able to snatch one of the bills and run it through a machine to confirm it was counterfeit.
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputies arrived and questioned the two women, but they were released when one of the boyfriends showed up and paid the fee.
“They were both trying to run her out!'' The woman said police were recording video as they spoke to them. “These people are good people and you both were trying to get rid of her!”
The salon currently requires first-time customers to pay 70% in advance for in-store services.
