Ivanka Trump has blunt response when asked why she won’t return to White House

Ivanka Trump had no intention of returning to the White House to help her father manage the country during his second administration, and frankly declared, “I hate politics.''

The eldest daughter, who was one of President-elect Donald Trump's top advisers during his first term, told Skinny Confidential's “Him & Her Show” podcast on Tuesday that she is avoiding Washington, D.C., this time.

She added: “The main reason I'm not going back to service now is because I know the cost, and I don't want my children to bear that cost.”

Ivanka, who moved to Florida with her husband Jared Kushner and their three children after Trump's defeat in the 2020 presidential election, said she planned to “show up” for her father when he returns home next week.

“I think what I'm most looking forward to as his daughter is being able to come to him and blow his mind and watch movies and sports games together,” she said.

“Knowing that he can be with me and be himself and just relax, and I can lovingly provide that for him as his daughter.”

“It's the loneliest position in the world. The sheer volume of decisions you make every day, how much everyone is dealing with you,” she added.
