On Tuesday, President Trump's first day in office, Border Czar Tom Homan revealed that ICE had arrested 308 illegal immigrants, some of whom were charged with murder and child rape.
Homan said Wednesday that immigration officials have begun arresting the 700,000 illegal immigrants roaming the country who pose a threat to “public safety.”
“ICE is doing their job,” Homan added.
Homan vowed to resume immigration raids under the Trump administration, including in sanctuary cities.
In a previous interview with the Post, Homan said that even without the help of sanctuary leaders, federal authorities would “wait until they get out of jail and then we go into the neighborhoods and get them.” emphasized.
