Migrant Encounters Drop 55% from Prior Week

The US Border Security Corps Chief Mike Banks reported a 55 % decrease in immigrants encountered last week. Immigration anxiety has decreased from more than 10,000 people last week to less than 5,000 in the past seven days.

Chief Banks has posted a report on X, which states that the border guard agent has arrested 4,577 immigrants in the past seven days. Banks have stated that this number has decreased from 10,281 immigrants arrested a week ago.

Bank, which was sworned as the chief of the border security squad on January 20, has praised the decrease in immigration encounters as “strengthening border security measures.”

“We have a significant impact on border security as boots are increasing on the ground,” Banks wrote. He called this report “significantly” from the previous week.

The chief also posted a video showing a border security agent working alongside the Pentagon and the Marine Corps along the border of the California with Mexico.

Banks have been arrested for immigrants with criminal history, despite the small number of concerns on the borders along the border. On Tuesday, the agent arrests five criminal foreigners, and the accusations include murder, child pornography, sexual assault, and worsening assault.

Chief reported that the border guard agent has arrested more than 3,700 crime aliens since October 1.
